The EOSF was founded in 2003 by leading financial organisations acting in the field of social economy, finance and civil society development in Germany, France, Italy and Poland. We share a common aim to strengthen the social economy and the non-profit sector throughout the EU.

 

The overriding aim of the European Office for Social Finance is to share competences and resources in order to sustain the social economy in Europe. The activities of the European Office for Social Finance are intended to support the customers of the EOSF Members coping with the risk and opportunities of the European integration.

 

The European Office for Social Finance is in close cooperation with the European federation of ethical and alternative banks (FEBEA).
